What is First Steps? According to their website, “First Steps is an organization that helps babies and toddlers (birth- 3 years of age) with disabilities or developmental delays. The program is designed to meet the needs of families related to enhancing their child’s development, learning, and participation in family and community life.” We want to help First Steps because there are students in our school with siblings that go to First Steps or have been helped by them. First Steps makes sure those families have the services needed to help their kids grow up happy and successful.
